About Us

Murray Rowe and Roxanne Kelly took over Northland Boating in August 2010. Now in its 21st year of operation, we are the third owners and both of us are keen fishing and boating people.

Murray is a qualified automotive mechanic, working towards factory Yamaha Outboard qualifications. Murray runs the day-to-day shop and boat sales, while Roxanne handles the administration side of the business.

Both of us enjoy the satisfaction of working with our customers, ensuring all their needs are met - we really like to go out of our way to help customers.

Along with Yamaha, Extreme, Rayglass, Fyran and Mac Boats we also stock leading electronics equipment, including Lowrance, Furuno, Garmin and GME, and provide a full chandlery service.

We also stock EPIRBs, safety equipment and have a full range of tackle and bait in store.

Selling of secondhand boats on behalf of customers at low commission rates. Trades are also welcome. We can also arrange delivery of boats anywhere in New Zealand and overseas.

We have two Yamaha trained technicians, but we also work on all engine brands and trailers. We can fix anything to do with your boat.
